Purpose:

ï‚· Website development is a broad term for any activity related to developing a website for the
World Wide Web or an intranet. This can include e-commerce business development, web
design, web content development, client-side or server-side scripting, and web server
configuration. Website Development can range from developing the simplest static single
page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic
businesses, or social network services. -
ï‚· This Certificate programme will introduce learners to the world of website development,
teach learners how to develop their own unique websites, and help them to individualize
their skills, and perfect intricate detail.

Learners who are (have been) registered for the same or another related Qualification on
NQF Level 4 will be able to horizontally enter another relevant learning programme on the
same level, given the rules of access have been complied with. Such learners will retain

could enrol for a relevant certificate level programme.
